Winemaker

The 2022 growing season was warm and dry. Due to the high temperatures, we had to reduce yields, giving us a dark intense flavor. The Brix at harvest was 23.5% and fermentation was done in small lots and lasted 8 days. We barrel-aged the wine in medium toast French oak for 12 months, during which secondary fermentation occurred.

Tasting Notes

“This well-balanced and enjoyable wine is perfect for any casual occasion. Find aromas and flavors of dark red roses, damp forest floor, fresh rain in the rainforest, cacao, off-the bush boysenberry, raspberry, and wild strawberry. A soft tannic texture and a solid dose of acidity knit it together.”
